Thanks to the restoration work carried out by the Aquileia Foundation, the ancient Roman metropolis reveals its most evocative sites: the domus of the ancient city.
On this guided tour, we will take you on a journey to discover what the architecture of the houses in Aquileia was like, how they were furnished, and what daily life was like within those walls.

The production, by Anà-Thema Teatro, offers a contemporary reinterpretation of the 1976 earthquake, not merely as a historical re-enactment, but as an experience that remains vivid in the collective consciousness.
The mythical figure of Orcolat, a symbolic element of Friulian folk tradition, is used as a narrative device to intertwine reality and myth, transforming the memory of pain into a shared story and collective awareness. FREE ENTRY subject to availability

From the car park at the Subida riding school in Cormons, stop at one of their military bunkers, then take the path leading to the Sirk vinegar factory, through the vineyards, until you reach a tarmac section overlooking the Preval valley. You will continue climbing through woods and vineyards towards Monte Quarin, passing by the King’s Observatory to reach the castle park and the ruins of the section known as La Rocca (274 m), where you can enjoy an unrivalled view. At the end of the tour, transfer to the “Angolo del Norcino” farmhouse, nestled amongst the vineyards of Cormons, lunch included.
