Thanks to the restoration work carried out by the Aquileia Foundation, the ancient Roman metropolis reveals its most evocative sites: the domus of the ancient city.

On this guided tour, we will take you on a journey to discover what the architecture of the houses in Aquileia was like, how they were furnished, and what daily life was like within those walls.

Friday 10 July, Palmanova looks forward to welcoming you to Piazza to celebrate nine years as a World Heritage Site. Prepare some food and drink (or buy some from the town’s restaurants and bars), bring your own crockery and glasses, and come to Piazza Grande from 7.30 pm. You’ll find tables and chairs already set up for you (subject to booking) for dining al fresco, together with friends and family.
