Guided tour of MACH – Museum of Starch Production in Chiozza

An initiative forming part of a series of events and activities designed to promote the historical, linguistic and artistic heritage of Friuli.
The MACH, the Chiozza Starch Factory Museum, houses a significant collection of artefacts and objects that trace the origins, development and closure of the Chiozza Starch Factory in Perteole. In the two exhibition rooms, visitors can follow – through images, texts, photographs and the objects on display – a story that began in the late 19th century in the Bassa Friulana region.
