Excursion to Collio to the Fortress of Mount Quarin

From the car park at the Subida riding school in Cormons, stop at one of their military bunkers, then take the path leading to the Sirk vinegar factory, through the vineyards, until you reach a tarmac section overlooking the Preval valley. You will continue climbing through woods and vineyards towards Monte Quarin, passing by the King’s Observatory to reach the castle park and the ruins of the section known as La Rocca (274 m), where you can enjoy an unrivalled view. At the end of the tour, transfer to the “Angolo del Norcino” farmhouse, nestled amongst the vineyards of Cormons, lunch included.
